Frequently Asked Questions:
What is a small group?
A small group, also known as a cell group, is three or more
individuals who join together under the Rhema SMF ministry
to create a Biblical community. This community is designed
for you to encourage, support, and challenge each other
to love God and love others.
Where do groups meet?
Small groups meet in varying environments including people’s
homes, restaurants, community buildings, recreation centers,
outdoors and the church. Wherever there is an opportunity
for three or more to join together, there is also the potential
to support a group. The primary meeting place for Rhema’s
SMF Group will be in a home near you.
What do groups do?
As long as the group’s members agree to grow spiritually,
build relationships, reach out to the community, worship
God and serve others, there is an endless array of explanations
for what groups do. Groups will meet at a designated home,
where there are formal (worship, prayer, Word) and informal
(other activities) components. Rhema’s SMF groups
will meet bi-monthly. The date will be announced later.
Why should I join a small group?
We want you to get plugged in. By joining a small group
you are opening a door to feeling supported and acknowledged
as an attendee/member of Rhema. It is also a wonderful opportunity
for learning, spiritual development, building friendships
and becoming an active individual in fulfilling our vision
of Changing and Affecting Lives.
