A study and application of fundamental financial principles
with a focus on the need for personal debt freedom
B. COURSE RATIONALE
To release every Kingdom Citizen from the Master of
Debt

Upon successful completion of this course, the student
will:
1. Be able to demonstrate a foundational understanding
of financial terms and biblical principles
2. Complete a functional Financial Plan
a. Identify gaps in current plan and design and implement
strategies to accomplish financial goals
b. A personal budget completed
c. Properly evaluate any personality traits that will
impede on goal progress i.e. Indiscipline,
3. Complete a Life Plan
4. Complete a Family/Personal Vision Board
5. If required, a Power of Attorney & Personal
Will

IV. ASSIGNMENTS
a. TEXTBOOK READINGS AND LECTURE STYLE PRESENTATION
– We will expect participants to take notes
as well as to complete any in class assignments
b. INDIVIDUAL VISION PROJECT – Students will
be required to complete a bristol board collage consisting
of how they envision life for them in the next 10
years. For example; dream home, car, $ amount of bank
statement
c. EXAM – A final written exam will be conducted
with a mark of 60% required to pass. The exam will
be open-book and comprised mostly of multiple choice
questions. Participants will have 1 hour to complete
the exam which must be completed in one sitting.
E. COURSE OUTLINE
Week 1 LIFE AFTER DEBT – Why God Needs
You Debt Free
Debt is modern day slavery masked by convenience.
This week we will explore the dangers of debt; the
legacy of debt and why God wants every believer Debt
Free.
Week 2 VISION – What You See is What
You Get
Without a vision ... This week we identify the importance
of having a clear vision for your life. Vision is
absolutely critical to wealth accomplishment. A Vision
Board assignment will be given this week with an expectation
of the participants to present their boards in week
6.
Week 3 BUILDING WEALTH – How Money Works
An introductory look at wealth creation strategies
and money management concepts, this lesson is designed
to take an objective look at wealth and its many facets.
Week 4 LIFE PLANNING I – Life by Design
This week has been designed to serve as a practical
exercise in life design. Intentional focus will be
made to encourage participants to take an in-depth
critical look at what they believe their life purpose
is and what they must do to accomplish it.
Week 5 FINANCIAL PLANNING – Budget Counselling
This week has been allocated to sit with each participant
to review their financial health. As we take a critical
look at current financial strategies, recommendations
will be made to fill gaps as required.
Week 6 EXAM WEEK
Participants this week will be required to take 3min
each to present their Vision Board creation. A visual
representation of personal/family dreams will be expected
to be captured in this visual presentation.
A take home exam will be given, and will be required
to be handed in the following Sunday to be graded.
