Qualifications & responsibilities
As Christians, the way we present ourselves to others is
of vital importance to the way others perceive Christ. Our
conduct should never be an embarrassment to Christ, but
should exemplify the best qualities of a mature believer
and Servant/Leader.
Exemplifying the highest moral commitment, Rhema SMF Small
Group Leaders are to maintain a disciplined life of Bible
reading, prayer and fasting. You must also refrain from
such things as profanity, gambling, indulging in much wine,
other alcoholic beverages, dishonest gain, illegal drugs,
pornography, sexual immorality, and all behaviours which
might cause Christ to grieve and others to stumble. For
by providing an example in speech and action, we encourage
others to grow in Christ and become Servant/Leaders themselves.
Rhema SMF Host homes must provide an environment
for:
• Fellowship and friendship with other Rhema attendees
• A comfortable setting in which to study God’s
Word and apply it to our lives
• An opportunity to build a spiritual support network
in which we can learn to minister to others as well as receive
ministry from others.
• A safe, friendly place to bring friends, co-workers,
and family members
