“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth” (3 John 2)
God’s chief desire is the total prosperity of His people. On this subject the Scripture is clear however the difficulty comes with His people receiving this truth in their lives. Unfortunately we are prone to believing that bad things are a necessary part of life. The Bible makes it clear that the believer is blessed and this is not a mere cliché. Being blessed is an understanding that God uses the resources of heaven in collaboration with our faith to ensure that there is nothing missing and absolutely nothing broken in the life of the believer. His chief desire for our total prosperity must now become our chief desire. It is then that we will realize His will being done in the earth as it is already done in heaven!
Father, this week I boldly declare that your chief desire for me is total prosperity. I decree that there will be absolutely nothing missing and absolutely nothing broken in my life. Your perfect will is being done in my life causing my spirit, my soul and my body to prosper, Amen!
